“Esperando” de Mike Flores

He recibido con alegria un mensaje de Mike, mi ex – roommate en Madrid al que fuimos a visitar a Cambridge. Bien, esta estudiando cine en LA, y presentaba su corto en ese festival. Hay premios que los da un jurado, y premios que los da el publico. En su caso, en la categoría de cortos los premios eran por votación popular… Y HA GANADO!!! Así que quedaros con el nombre, que es el comienzo de una exitosa carrera. Si quereis verlo –solo dura 7 minutos- y estais en Vitoria, decidme y quedamos un dia. Take care!

I just received word that, in the end, ESPERANDO won the audience award
and that it will be screened prior to the closing night film this Sunday:
TIDELAND, directed by Terry Gilliam who will be in attendance for the
screening. Also, I'm happy to hear that your family liked the film and
that you like it more and more each time that you see it. Anyway, I'm really
glad that you were able to make it to Cambridge and am hopeful that I'll
soon be visiting you in Dubai.
