Nobel Prize–winning writer Ernest Hemingway spent a large part of his life in Spain. He was a regular in Pamplona during the San Fermín festival, a chronicler of the Spanish Civil War from Madrid, and a loyal patron of bars, cafés, and hotels such as the Florida. He enjoyed wine, long conversations, and celebration. He passed through so many establishments that finding one he never visited is worth noting.
